What I have learned from this research is that my target audience likes the Metal genre and reads magazines from time to time. The types of magazines that this person usually reads is kerrang and prefers black and red magazines. This person also likes Gothic fonts in the magazines that they read. The types of things that this person looks for most in magazines are usually the images.

Main task: Case study of a publishing house

The types of magazines that this publishing house publishes are music magazines from several different music genres. Some of the magazine titles that this publishing house makes are JazzTimes, Recording and Revolver.

The types of audiences that would be targeted by these magazines are most likely musicians that would want to gain more information on changing the settings on the musical instruments or amplifiers in order to help expand their musical ability. They also gain the opportunity to learn different types of recording instruments. The magazines are most likely aimed at people of all ages as well.

The reason why this company would aim to target different audience with each magazine that it makes is to increase the popularity of the magazine by offering information that can be considered valuable to the target audience of a magazine. Another reason for why the publishing house would target different audiences would also be to increase the amount of profit that they would make.

Reader: This is Matt, He is 19. He is a fan of the nu metal music genre and will never miss a single opportunity to buy the albums of his favourite bands such as Linkin park, Rage against the machine and coal chamber. He is also the type of person that will always go to see his favourite bands live all over the country.






Reader: This is Ellie, She is 17, She is also a fan of the nu metal genre and during her spare time she likes to create guitar covers of her favourite songs and write her own which we plays along with her band.

The double page spread colours scheme for this music magazine appears to be black, red, white and blue.

The image on this Double page spread appears to take up more than half of the spread. This image mainly consists of four people wearing biker jackets. These people are also seem to be staring in different directions.

The subject name of this seems to be "We were rebelling against who we are".

Non verbal Communications:

When looking at their non verbal communication, they seem to be quite calm and seem to be staring at different directions as if something is surrounding them.

The Main image appears to have been taken whilst a band has been performing; this image also seems to be in grey scale. There are also several smaller images which show the band performing in a place which seems to be a studio.
